Who is responsible
Echofront is operated by P.K. Davy. For questions about this notice or personal data handled directly in connection with Echofront, email contact@pkdavy.com.
Information handled by the website
Technical requests and hosting logs
When the public website is hosted, the hosting provider may process standard technical information needed to deliver and secure it. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages or files, date and time, referring page, and error or security events. Audio and video requests are treated like other file requests.
This information is used only for reliable delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and security. It is retained according to the hosting provider's operational and security schedule and only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Anonymous audience measurement
Echofront uses Umami Cloud, provided by Umami Software, Inc., to understand whether the site is being used and which public material is useful. Umami records page views and anonymous visit statistics such as the requested page, referring website, approximate country, browser, operating system, and device category.
Echofront also records a small set of custom events: when a public music track starts, when it reaches the end, and when a visitor follows an official support or social link. Music events contain the public track title; link events contain only the link type and its location on the website. Playback position, volume, names, email addresses, messages, and payment details are not included in analytics events.
The tracker is configured to run only on the official Echofront domain, omit URL search parameters and fragments, and respect a browser's Do Not Track setting. Umami states that its analytics do not use cookies, fingerprinting, or personally identifiable information. Analytics are used only to assess readership, improve the website, and understand interest in its public pages, music, and support links—not for advertising or automated decisions. See the Umami privacy policy.
Music-player preferences
The music player uses session storage to remember the selected track for the current browser session and local storage to remember the chosen volume. The keys areechofront-track and echofront-volume. These values remain on your device and are not sent to P.K. Davy. You can remove them through your browser settings.
Email correspondence
If you email contact@pkdavy.com, the information you provide, such as your email address, name, message, and any attachments, will be used to read and answer your request, maintain necessary correspondence, and protect against misuse. Ordinary correspondence is normally retained for no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing matter or legal obligation.
Support through Ko-fi and PayPal
Support is completed outside this website. Ko-fi facilitates the interaction and PayPal processes the payment. This website does not receive or store card numbers, PayPal passwords, or other payment credentials.
Depending on the information you provide and the services' settings, P.K. Davy may receive supporter and transaction details such as a display name, email address, message, contribution amount, currency, payment status, and transaction reference. Those details are used only to acknowledge and administer support, answer related questions, handle disputes or refunds, and meet accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or other legal obligations. They are not automatically added to a mailing list.
Ko-fi and PayPal process information under their own policies. Review the Ko-fi privacy policy and PayPal privacy statement before using those services.
Other external services
Links to Instagram and other future social profiles take you away from Echofront. No social feed or tracking widget is currently embedded in this website. Once you open an external service, its own privacy and cookie practices apply.
Legal grounds, sharing, and retention
Where the GDPR applies, information is processed as appropriate to respond to a request, administer a requested transaction, pursue the legitimate interests of operating and securing the project, and comply with legal obligations. Information is not sold.
Information may be available to service providers that operate hosting, analytics, email, Ko-fi, or payment services, and may be disclosed when required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Anonymous analytics records are retained under the applicable Umami Cloud plan and account settings and may be deleted or exported by the site operator. Transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting, tax, payment-dispute, and legal rules. Some providers operate outside the European Economic Area and are responsible for the safeguards described in their policies.
Cookies and future changes
Echofront currently sets no tracking cookies and uses no advertising trackers. Umami provides cookieless audience measurement, while the music player uses browser storage only for the preferences described above. If a newsletter, shop, contact form, third-party embed, or more intrusive measurement is introduced later, this notice will be updated before that feature is made public and consent will be requested where required.
Your rights
Depending on the law and circumstances, you may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection. Echofront does not use personal data for automated decisions or direct marketing. To make a request, email contact@pkdavy.com. Identity may need to be verified before information is disclosed or changed.
